My journey in the voiceover industry spans nearly three decades, during which I’ve been privileged to witness the transformative power of quality voice productions firsthand. While I began my career as a voiceover artist, I’ve continually expanded my skills and now also work as a highly sought-after audio engineer and producer, all while maintaining my passion for voiceover work.
I’ve developed a deep passion for all aspects of audio. I consider audio to be more than an afterthought; to me, the right voice and the perfect recording can truly make or break a project.
My Philosophy on Voice Productions
I firmly believe that a professional voiceover is more than just someone reading a script; it’s about being a true spokesperson for your brand, product, or service. This is why I’ve always prioritized high-quality audio and why I’m so passionate about helping businesses with their voice productions. Over the years, I’ve refined my skills across a range of voiceover work, including corporate projects, explainer videos, and eLearning modules. I also have vast experience in documentary narration and have voiced a number of video games including a yet to be released AAA title.
The Importance of Professional Audio
I’ve seen the industry change significantly, especially with the rise of home studios. While this has increased the number of voice actors, it’s also created a wider range in audio quality. I’ve continually stressed the importance of high-quality recordings, as poor audio can be a major distraction and negatively impact the final product.
In fact, I’d go so far as to say that it doesn’t matter if you are developing big budget radio and TV commercials or lower budget explainer videos, try to think of the voice as just as important as the copy, the imagery and animation, the music and all of the other elements that come together to connect with an audience and deliver your message in the way you planned.
